Alice in Wonderland - Oct. 16 & 17

The College of Charleston  Sottile Theatre

Journey through the looking glass as Bahr’s unique and colorful adaptation of the classic story interweaves ballet, acrobatics, mime and theatre in a kaleidoscope for the senses. A magical multimedia experience highlights this full length fantasy for the eyes, ears and imagination. Join Alice, the Cheshire Cat, Mad Hatter and all the classic characters for an unforgettable theatrical dance experience.


Rocky Horror - Oct. 22 - 30

The CBT Black Box Theatre

Now a Halloween tradition in Charleston, Dr. Frank N. Furter and crew take the audience on a fully interactive media experience with a wild ballet interpretation of the cult classic film playing on the big screen behind them! Over the years audiences have come in full Rocky regalia trying to out-do one another and this year will be no exception. Plan your costume now and get your party favors ready.


The Nutcracker - Dec. 11  & 12, 17 & 18

The Gaillard Auditorium & The North Charleston Performing Arts Center

Our Charleston-set Nutcracker has been a holiday classic for over three decades and  has been expanded to performances at both Gaillard Auditorium and now at the N. Chas. Performing Art Center. Charleston Ballet Theatre's Nutcracker, set in the Lowcountry of the 1860's features familiar Charleston names and landmarks, making this holiday classic a truly unique Charleston Christmas time experience.


Nashville - Jan. 13 - 16, 28 & 29

The CBT Black Box Theatre

Country music gets a ballet face-lift when CBT meets the sounds of Nashville’s ‘dudes and divas’ in this multimedia dance celebration set in the same vein as this season’s wildly popular Decadent Divas. Famed fashion designer Mary Porter joins CBT again for a fashion forward costumed collaboration with Sunhead Projects returning for a another thrilling music media presentation.

 

 

Black & White - Feb. 12 & 13
The College of Charleston  Sottile Theatre

Swan Lake’s second act, Balanchine’s Concerto Barocco, & Bahr’s Poetry With A Splash of Red Blood make up this Masterpieces collection of ballets comprised of all black & white visuals. Our February 'Masterpieces' production is always the highlight of the season, bringing world-reknown masterworks to the culturally distinguished people of Charleston year after year. Plus, it always makes for an impressive and romantic Valentine's date!


The Golden Oscar - Feb. 25 - 27, Mar. 4  &  5

The CBT Black Box Theatre

A retrospective of the best of our famed Oscar Gala dance performances of Academy Award nominate films. Our annual gala produces some of our most talked about pieces of the year and its popularity has spun off into this full length show celebrating our greatest hits with video by frequent collaborator Sunhead Projects. You have heard the buzz every year after our famed Oscar Gala performances, now is your chance the best of the best all in one place!


Romeo & Juliet - March 26 &  27

The College of Charleston  Sottile Theatre

Youthful romance takes a tragic turn in Jill Eathorne Bahr's cherished interpretation of the Shakespeare classic. This sweeping epic tale of young love and its many consequences is told in vivid detail with some of the most beautiful costumes, sets and choreography Charleston has ever seen. Filled with action, romance, family feuds and more, it's a story that everyone can relate to and certainly one all will fall in love with all over again.
